Join thousands of Californians across the state participating in Coastal Cleanup Day by volunteering to clean one of Orange County’s beaches this Saturday.

Coastal Cleanup Day, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, is a day when volunteers take to the beaches, oftentimes alongside community organizations, to pick up trash in local beaches and waterways.

California saw its first Coastal Cleanup Day in 1985, when the California Coastal Commission organized the first statewide cleanup.
