Patty Cakes

Patty Cakes has been at the Mission Viejo animal shelter for two months. She’s still a puppy and will likely continue growing, and she’s currently available for adoption.

Staff notations describe her as a loving dog with a big heart. Since she’s still growing, staff recommend basic training classes for her. Patty Cakes was originally part of a bonded pair with her sister, but they were approved to be separated and her sister has already been adopted.

Here are Patty Cake’s details:

  • Pet ID: A265676
  • Sex: Female (spayed)
  • Age: 6 months
  • Color: Black
  • Breed: Dachshund mix

Porter

Porter has been at the Mission Viejo animal shelter for four months after coming in as a stray. He’s strong, high-energy and requires a confident handler. Staff recommends some basic training for Porter since he’s known to pull on a leash.

Staff notations explain that he can be unsure of other dogs, so a dog meeting is required if a potential adopter has another dog. He is currently available for adoption.

Here are Porter’s details:

  • Pet ID: A263577
  • Sex: Male (neutered)
  • Age: 1 year
  • Color: Tan
  • Breed: German Shepherd mix
  • Intake Date: 4/9/2024

Magoo

Magoo has been at the shelter for just under a month after he was part of a group of cats relinquished by their owner.

Staff notations describe Magoo as friendly, affectionate and playful. Since he has lived with other cats before, a multi-pet household would suit Magoo as long as the animals are introduced properly. He is currently available for adoption.

Here are Magoo’s details:

  • Pet ID: A266811
  • Sex: Male (neutered)
  • Age: 2 years
  • Color: Orange Tabby
  • Breed: Domestic shorthair
  • Intake Date: 7/31/024
